Yup! Social Media plays an important role in the corporate world. Companies are increasingly using platforms like blogs, facebook and twitter to stay connected with their audience. It is important for every business to know what the end users are thinking about the products, what their competitors are doing, what is the latest buzz in the market. Almost every organization maintains an active blog to let the readers know about their forthcoming products/services, converse with their audience and with their employees. If you want to succeed you just can’t dare to stay quiet, you have to talk and also get opinions from your readers.

True, I believe that in coming years all the corporate companies has to jump into Social Media to get connected with their customers and stakeholders, cause it is the best platform where they can directly engage with their end users which is very crucial for shaping strategies and other things.

  • As I mentioned in my previous comment, people are talking all around, as marketing professionals we need tools to listen to them. Glad that we are listening to all of them :) .

I think from this quarter we shall start listening to our competitor’s clients too as our competitors are too lazy to see these huge numbers, good for us :)
