SBI mutual fund online transaction fraud – please grow wrt WEB
(Update on 13th March, 2010: I get so many queries for SBI Mutual fund statements now, people leave their phone numbers, email address for their SBI MF statement. SBI, where are you??? )
I am surprised by the common mistakes done by our bankers and investors, I wish we could offer some help. Here is a small post about a common mistake. I have asked a few guys to pen down a detailed study of Indian online banking.

Hell, CAMS on line is sending me information related to my SBI mutual fund, CAMS online, didn’t they get any better name? You expect me to click on something like CAMS in the world of spams and viruses? Where is the name SBI in the domain name ….
What if I book a domain with sbimutualfunds.com?
I see that most of our Indian financial companies have many domains like statebankofindia.com, sbimf.com, onlinesbi.com, statebank.com, sbicard.com and God only knows what all … Now what if I book a domain like sbimutualfunds.com? How will your customer distinguish between a genuine sbi website and a fake one. So all the sbi related websites to be redirected to sbi.com … Proper use of subdomains can build trust among the customers like mf.sbi.com card.sbi.com …. when I see that the domain name is sbi.com, I am more open to accept the domain name.
Grow up Indian banking and investment industry, there is a lot to be done at security level. I will write a detailed one. I see HDFC doing a great job with online security.

Even I am so much worried clicking on this link, It does not look like SBI site. Please use websites which are linked to sbi. I am putting link on google search to find out whether it is fraud email or what /
Sorry friends, I was down with fever, will call up SBI and clarify from them, lets have some authority involved. Looks a very serious matter. I am also writing about how Indian banks can do small changes and make it more secure. I was into Data Encryption and Data Secrity once.

My Follio No-9718099 of SBI Mutual Funds had got redemption on dt.07-08.10 and the cheque is also issued at your end but letter vide No-SBI/COA/19269/12-Aug-2010 dt.12th Aug’2010 received abd the cheque is return back to you vide Blue dot courier.
